President William Ruto's ongoing development tour of Nairobi City County enters its fourth day.
The Head of State is scheduled to visit Kibra and Langata, both considered to be ODM leader Raila Odinga's key support bases in the region.
During the visit, he is expected to inspect various ongoing projects which include affordable housing and also launch some new ones in the constituencies.
Tea Industry results
Agriculture and Livestock Cabinet Secretary Mutahi Kagwe will today release the Tea Industry performance results for 2024.
Later on, the CS will hold a consultative meeting with tea producers, buyers and brokers at the East African Tea Trade Association (EATTA) Auditorium in Mombasa.
The event is set for 9 am to 1 pm.
Ending femicide
Journalists for Human Rights (JHR) and KELIN will today host a CSO round table aimed at proposing actionable solutions to address the alarming rise in femicide in Kenya from 8 am to 3 pm. 
More women were killed in 2024 making it the deadliest in terms of femicide since 2018.

Analysis shows that 170 women died at the hands of current or former intimate partners during the year.

The data crunched by Odipo Dev and Africa Uncensored, whose report was launched in Nairobi, in January 2025, shows that 2024 had the blood of women spilt with husbands’ involvement accounting for close to 50 per cent of perpetrators.

EPRA conference
The Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA) will host the national stakeholder conference, a flagship event under the Kaa Safe Mtaani campaign.
It will be held at the Safari Park Hotel, Nairobi, starting at 7 am.
Kenya Reinsurance to handover assistive devices to police
Kenya Reinsurance Corporation Limited (Kenya Re) will officially hand over mobility and assistive devices to the National Police Service (NPS).
The devices are worth over Sh13 million and are to be distributed to officers who get injured in the line of duty.
The event is set for Embakasi 'A' Campus in Utawala, Nairobi from 9 am.
