Kenya Power has listed some areas across the country scheduled for power interruption on Tuesday.
The utility firm listed areas in nine counties to face power interruption at diverse times between 8am and 5pm.
The power interruption facilitates system maintenance.
The counties to be affected are Narok, Kisumu, Murang’a, Kiambu, Mombasa, Kilifi, Kwale, Kirinyaga and Nyeri.
Narok
Parts of Narok will face power cuts from 8am to 4pm.
The areas are Narok County Referral Hosp, Narok County Offices, Narok Water, Lenana East, Narok Prison, Polytechnic and Naivas S/Market.
Kisumu
Areas in Kisumu will face power interruptions from 9am to 5pm.
They are Katito, Sondu, Ahero, Kochogo, Nyakwere, Nyamarimba, Kanyamlori, Kolweny and adjacent customers.
Murang’a and Kiambu
Parts of Murang’a and Kiambu will face power interruption from 9am to 5pm.
The areas include Ndula, Kilimambogo Teachers, Magogoni, Kiboko Farm, Kenchic, Makutano, Jawabu Quarry, Helena Quarry, Ndula, Delmonte, Rubiru, Fourteen Falls Mkt, Kenchic, Dimken Farm, Duka Moja, Ngoliba Market, Ngoliba Sec, NYS, Kithimani Market, Kabaa Market, Wings Quarry, Valem Quarry, Rubiru, Macvast Market, Kwa Jimmy Market, Kabaa Market, Chui Rapids and Kahonoki.
Other areas are Nginyi Pumps, Twin River East, Gwa Kameme, Bishop Gitonga, Kinyangi Dispensary, Junction, Kaguku, Kaumoni, Makutano, Kikule, Makuti, Milaani, Kahuruko, Grellia, Ithanga, Manyatta, Gathukini and adjacent customers.
Mombasa
Areas in Mombasa to face power interruption from 9am to 5pm are the whole of Miritini East, Miritini Catholic, St. Elizabeth and Miritini Guest House.
Kilifi
Parts of Kilifi to face power interruption from 9am to 5pm are Mtwapa Police Station, Abems Multicare, Supa Loaf Mtwapa, Fayaz Mtwapa, Mtwapa Catholic, Moorings, Aloo Drive, Mtomondoni Secondary, Mtwapa, Mtwapa Mall and adjacent customers.
Kwale
Areas in Kwale are set to face power cuts from 9am to 5pm.
They are Kwale Town, Tiribe, Kinango and adjacent customers.
Kirinyaga
Parts of Kirinyaga will face power cuts from 9am to 5pm.
They are part of Manjengo, Part of PIAI, Estana Hotel, PK Njuguna, Rogoi Market, Rogoi ACK, Mugamba Ciura, Murinduko VLG & Secondary School, Togonye Market, St. Susan, Kariati, Kadawa, Gold, Mumbu Mkt, Itangi, South Ngariama, Ikurungu Market, Ikurungu Hospital, Morgan, Skai Sana and Gathigiini Primary.
Nyeri
Areas in Nyeri will face power interruptions from 8am to 5pm.
They include Endarasha, Charity, Watuka, Embaringo, Kimunyuru, Gakanga, Gitegi and adjacent customers.
