The Anti-Doping Agency of Kenya (ADAK) and the Kenya Power
Pension Fund (KPPF) have announced vacancies for senior management positions as
they seek to strengthen leadership and improve service delivery within their
respective institutions.
In a public advertisement, ADAK invited applications for the
position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The agency, which was established
under the Anti-Doping Act of 2016 and revised in 2020, is mandated to protect
athletes’ right to participate in clean and doping-free sports. The
organisation plays a critical role in promoting fairness and integrity in
Kenyan sports.
According to the notice, the successful candidate will serve
at ADAK Grade 1 and earn a salary ranging between KSh260,000 and KSh460,000 per
month. Interested applicants are required to submit their applications through
the agency’s online recruitment portal. The applications must reach the Board
Chairman on or before June 30, 2026.
ADAK further stated that the successful applicant will be
required to provide clearance certificates from key government agencies,
including the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA), Higher Education Loans Board
(HELB), Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC), and a Credit Reference
Bureau (CRB).
At the same time, the Kenya Power Pension Fund has announced
a vacancy for the position of Manager, Internal Audit and Risk. KPPF, a
retirement benefits scheme registered under the Retirement Benefits Authority,
provides pension benefits to permanent and pensionable employees of Kenya Power
and the Nuclear Power and Energy Agency upon retirement or withdrawal from
service.
The fund said it is looking for a highly motivated,
innovative and result-oriented professional to help achieve its strategic
objectives and strengthen governance structures. Applications for the position
are to be submitted through the fund’s online recruitment platform by June 22.
Both ADAK and KPPF emphasised their commitment to equal
employment opportunities. The organisations encouraged women, persons living
with disabilities and individuals from marginalised communities to apply.
The recruitment drive reflects ongoing efforts by public
institutions to attract competent professionals capable of enhancing
accountability, transparency and operational efficiency in service to Kenyans.
Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted, while canvassing will lead to
automatic disqualification.
