Health CS Adan Duale has committed to resolve key issues that have been ailing the sector.
Duale on Tuesday officially took over from his predecessor Deborah Barasa.
He emphasised fairness and equity in addressing health sector concerns through consultative solutions.
Additionally, he reaffirmed his commitment to strengthening Kenya's healthcare system while cracking down on unqualified practitioners in the sector.
He pledged that going forward, SHA shall settle hospital claims by the 14th day of each month.
He further pledged to fast-track all pending and perennial Human Resource matters under the Ministry and work with all stakeholders to achieve a long-lasting solution.
