The national 3x3 women's team were bundled out of the FIBA 3x3 Universality Olympic Qualifying Tournament in Utsunomiya, Japan.

The Kenyans, who lost 19-12 to Canada in their opening fixture on Friday, suffered two defeats against Australia and Netherlands in matches played on Saturday.

Playing in the four-team Group 'B', Kenya fell 22-9 to Australia. Victoria Reynolds picked up four points and Natalie Akinyi added three.

Reynolds also dropped four points and Medina Okot added two as the Kenyana suffered another 21-7 defeat at the hands of Netherlands.

Coach Everlyne Kedogo had Mercy Wanyama (Lithuania) and Victoria Reynolds (Mexico) in the team alongside Natalie Akinyi and ⁠Madina Okot.
