Nairobi Woman Representative Esther Passaris has demanded a swift investigation following the passing of the famous TikToker Milly wa Doc.
In a statement on X, Passaris extended her condolences to the
family of the late Milly.
“I am deeply disheartened by the tragic passing of Milly wa Doc,” Passaris said.
"My heartfelt condolences go out to her children, family,
and the fans who drew strength from her candid and courageous voice."
She also noted that her untimely demise has raised concerns
among many and has called upon the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI)
to look into the matter.
“Her untimely death raises serious concerns,” Passaris stated.
"I call upon DCI to conduct a thorough and transparent probe."
Passaris further stated that the Chief Government
Pathologist, Dr. Johansen Oduor, should be urgently involved in sourcing out
the cause of her death.
In addition, she also urged the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council (KMPDC) to investigate the online allegations regarding her cause of death.
“These allegations speak to possible abuse of office and failure in duty of care matters that demand immediate attention,” said Passaris.
"No stone must be left unturned."
Passaris said Kenya must stand for truth,
justice, and the protection of women.
Milly wa Doc met her untimely death on Tuesday, June 3, 2025. She grew up in a humble family in Nakuru as the firstborn of eight siblings.
