Police in Narok are investigating an incident where a man was allegedly killed after trying to attack his father.
The man identified as Elvis Kishoyian, 20, was allegedly killed after he tried to attack his father in an altercation over land issues in Shartuka location, Narok county.
A relative is alleged to have attacked Kishoyian on the head and floored him in an effort to stop him from attacking his father.
He was rushed to the hospital, where he died while being treated.
The assailant escaped the scene, and efforts to trace him for arraignment are ongoing, police said.
In Emuhaya, Vihiga County, a man identified as Benson Obuyoka, 80, was allegedly killed by a neighbour in a dispute over a boundary.
Police said they are looking for the assailant.
The deceased had been hit in the head in the quarrel and rushed to the hospital, where he succumbed to the injuries.
The body was moved to a local mortuary pending autopsy and other investigations.
In Matisi, Trans Nzoia, a body of a 16-year-old boy was found in a maize plantation with blood oozing from the mouth.
Police said the body had a stab wound in the back.
The motive of the murder was not immediately established, police said, as the body was moved to the mortuary for autopsy.
A murder investigation was opened, police said.

In Kuresoi, Nakuru county, a child aged one drowned in a family borehole while playing, police said.
The child had been
playing at a neighbour’s compound on Wednesday when the incident happened,
police said.
His mother told
police she had left him to play with other children when the incident happened.
