The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) marked its 20th anniversary on Friday with a major celebration in Mombasa, using the milestone to honour its past while charting a path for its future.
The 20-year mark showcased ODM’s resilience, from electoral battles to grassroots mobilisation, and its determination to rebuild, reorganise, and prepare for the next political cycle.
The event doubled as a tribute to party founder Raila Odinga and his decades-long contribution to Kenya’s democratic journey.
The event was graced by several senior ODM leaders, including party chairperson Gladys Wanga, Secretary-General Edwin Sifuna, Mining Cabinet Secretary Hassan Joho, and Mombasa Governor Abdulswamad Nassir.
