Across the three countries, respondents reported verbal abuse (43%) as the most prevalent form of SGBV.

Kenya appears to have a relatively high number of cases of sexual harassment (19%) compared to the other two countries (10% for Uganda and 13% for Tanzania), while compared to Tanzania (5%), respondents in Kenya (11%) and Uganda (10%) reported comparably higher incidences of exploitation (using authority to gain sexual favours).

The findings further indicate that verbal abuse and emotional abuse are relatively more prevalent in Tanzania (65%) and Uganda (62%) compared to Kenya (49%).
