Participating in discussions and debates follows at 63%, while 62% use it to connect with like-minded individuals.
Sharing short updates and thoughts stands at 59%, with discovering viral content close behind at 55%.
The findings show Twitter’s continued relevance as a hub for real-time news, social interaction, and trending topics in Africa’s digital space, with users increasingly valuing engagement, information access, and community building on the platform.
