Several other countries also performed well, including Brazil and Iran, which both scored 72, and the United Arab Emirates and Jordan with scores of 71. The data highlights a strong performance from developing economies.
Conversely, some nations showed significantly lower scores. The Democratic Republic of Congo and Turkmenistan each scored 14, while Angola received an 11.
The lowest performers were Yemen (4) and Burundi (2), indicating a substantial disparity in energy efficiency efforts globally.
These results, sourced from a World Bank report, illustrate the wide range of progress countries are making in this critical area.
