The Quality of Life Index offers a critical look at overall well-being, taking into account essential metrics such as Safety, Health Care, Cost of Living, and Climate. The 2025 data reveal the ten countries where residents face the greatest challenges in these areas.
Nigeria ranks as the country with the lowest quality of life, followed closely by Bangladesh and Venezuela, securing the first, second, and third spots, respectively.
The list also includes Sri Lanka (04) and Egypt (05), pointing to widespread issues across different continents. Rounding out the top ten are Iran (06), Peru (07), Vietnam (08), the Philippines (09), and Lebanon (10). This geographical spread indicates that poor living conditions, often marked by inadequate safety, healthcare, or economic instability, are not confined to a single region but affect diverse nations.
The index serves as an important indicator for global policymakers and humanitarian organizations to focus efforts on improving fundamental living standards and reducing systemic vulnerabilities in these regions.
