Kenya Power lists areas to face outages Tuesday

Kenya Power has listed some areas across the country scheduled for power interruption on Tuesday. 

The utility firm listed areas in seven counties, which will stay without poiwer at diverse times between 9am to 5pm.

The power interruption is to facilitate system maintenance.

The counties to be affected are Nairobi, Nandi, Elgeyo Marakwet, Trans Nzoia, Kisumu, Kirinyaga and Kiambu.

Nairobi

Parts of Nairobi will face power cuts from 9am to 5pm.

Areas to be affected are Kenya Water Institute, Akiba East, Akiba Court 3, Five Star East, Tabsera Academy, Memon East, Halai East, Bellevue School, Ruby East, Midlans Court East, Bandari Villas, St Catherine of Alexandria Catholic, Masjid Bukhari Mosque, Soledo Springs East, Tepro Homes, Manifest Estate, Sifa Springs East, Missionary School, Manifest Apartments, Nairobi Water and adjacent customers.

Other areas are State House Girls High School, Arboretum Road, Kolobot Road, Part of Ring Road, Westlands, Riverside Gardens, part of Riverside Drive, Prime Bank, SBM Bank, UoN Chiromo Campus, Dusit, Chiromo Funeral Parlour, ICEA Lions Waiyaki Way and adjacent customers.

Nandi 

Areas in Nandi will face power interruption from 9am to 6pm.

They are Kapsasur Centre, Kapsasur Dispensary, Kaptabogen, Chebil and adjacent customers.

At the same time, areas including Henry Koskei Secondary, Kibukwo, Maraba, Taachasis, Meteitei, Tindiret, MbogoValley, Soba River and adjacent customers will also face power cuts.

Elgeyo Marakwet 

Areas in Elgeyo Marakwet to face power interruption from 9am to 5pm are Kipsetan, Chesubet, Kamoi, Kibuga Centre and adjacent customers.

Other areas include Kimwarer, Muskut, Sego and adjacent customers.

Trans Nzoia 

Parts of Trans Nzoia will face the power interruption from 9am to 5pm.

They are Kaplamai Market, Motosiet, Sinoko, Cheptil, Kachibora, Kiptoi, Kapcherop StateLodge, Kamendi, Kipkeikei, Kapkarwa, Osorongai, Yuya and adjacent customers.

Kisumu

Areas in Kisumu will face power interruption from 9am to 5pm.

They are Arina East, Usotho, MTC Staff Houses, Obama East, Kibuye Market and adjacent customers.

Kirinyaga

Parts of Kirinyaga will experience power outage from 9am 5pm.

They are part of Makutano, Makawani Polytechnic, Kamweli Water Pump, Pat NSons-Crusher, PI Market, Kikumini, Gitaraka, Wachoro Dispensary, Sweetcorn Millers, Kirwara Chinese Camp and adjacent customers.

Other areas to face power cuts in Kirinyaga are Munyaka, Kiamanyeki, Mikimaini-Borehole, Mwaniki Residence, Gathigiriri-Prison, Village, Polytechnic, Mithuthini, Migingo, Bambainit and adjacent customers.

Kiambu 

Areas in Kiambu will face power interruption from 9am to 5pm.

The areas include Gachoroba, Zaweni, Kamondo Secondary, Mutuya, Nyagoti, Githiga, Gatitu, Gathaithi, Munjeme, Kiamachani, Kiaibabu and adjacent customers.
