Fayaz Bakers FC have been crowned winners of the 2025 Sisi Ni Dola Cup after edging out Fetuwe FC 1–0 in a thrilling final held at the Mombasa Sports Club on Sunday, November 9, 2025.
The victory earned Fayaz Bakers FC the tournament’s top prize of Sh500,000, while Fetuwe FC, the runners-up, walked away with Sh250,000. Al-Shifaa Media FC and Congo Boys finished third and fourth, earning Sh100,000 and Sh50,000 respectively.
The month-long football tournament, sponsored by Dola Group—makers of Dola, Masterchef, and Meta brands—brought together 20 teams from Mombasa, Kilifi, and Kwale Counties. The competition aimed to nurture young football talent and promote youth participation in sports across the Coast region.

Speaking during the awards ceremony, Dola Group Sports Manager Hassan Ibrahim said the tournament is designed to create opportunities for young people to grow through sports.
“The Sisi Ni Dola Cup provides a valuable platform for young people to showcase their talent and gain exposure,” said Ibrahim. “Beyond football, our goal is to build confidence, teamwork, and leadership among youth through organised sporting activities.”

“The Sisi Ni Dola Cup is part of Dola Group’s wider commitment to community empowerment and youth development. Through initiatives like this, we aim to use sport as a tool for positive change and social inclusion,” he said.
The tournament also honoured standout performers with individual awards. Hamid Mohammed of Fayaz FC was named the Most Valuable Player, while Congo Boys’ Fadhil Jira bagged the Golden Boot after finishing as top scorer with six goals.
Abdulwahab Jelle of Juve was recognised as Best Young Player, Fayaz FC’s Jafar Sharif Kale won Best Goalkeeper, and Shimai Fuad of Fayaz FC was named Best Coach. Each received Sh20,000, a trophy, and a medal for their exceptional performance.
This year’s edition underscored the Coast region’s growing influence in Kenyan football. The area has produced several emerging stars, including Yusuf “China” Ali, who began his career in the Dola Super Cup and now features in the Division II League.
Organisers said the annual tournament continues to play a critical role in developing grassroots football and offering exposure to young players seeking to advance their careers.
Through the Sisi Ni Dola Cup, Dola Group reaffirmed its commitment to youth empowerment, community engagement, and sports as a unifying force.
The company said it will continue investing in initiatives that build social cohesion and give young people meaningful opportunities to thrive through sport.
