The Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) has this evening closed the Nakuru-bound carriageway of the Nakuru–Eldoret (A8) Road at Eveready Roundabout after a sinkhole developed on the busy highway.

In a statement, KeNHA said its engineers are already on site assessing the situation and working round the clock to restore normal traffic flow.
