
President William Ruto has intensified his development tour of the Rift Valley with a visit to Nakuru, where he launched key infrastructure projects.
On Wednesday, Ruto commenced the day by commissioning the Nakuru County Referral and Teaching Hospital CT scan unit before presiding over the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of Lanet affordable housing.
He also launched the construction of Jogoo-Kiptangwanyi-Munanda and Kasarani-Kongoni-Olkaria & Ndabibi Access roads.
Ruto was accompanied by his Deputy Kithure Kindiki, Governor Susan Kihika, Cabinet secretaries Davis Chirchir (Transport) and Kipchumba Murkomen (Interior), among other elected leaders from the county.
