The Privatisation Authority said it is seeking to recruit
qualified and self-motivated individuals for four positions, including Deputy
Director for Information and Communication Technology, Assistant Director for
Corporate Communications, Assistant Director for Internal Audit and Senior
Administration Officer.
The Authority, a State Corporation established under Section
8 of the Privatisation Act No. 18 of 2025, said the successful candidates will
support the implementation of the country’s privatisation programme and related
proposals.
Interested applicants have been directed to access detailed
job specifications and application requirements through the Authority’s
official website, Privatisation Authority.
Applications are to be submitted to the Managing Director of
the Privatisation Authority at the Social Security House Annex in Nairobi by
5pm on June 15, 2026.
The Authority said it is an equal opportunity employer and encouraged women, youth and persons living with disabilities to apply, warning that canvassing will lead to disqualification.
Meanwhile, the Geothermal Development Company has announced
a vacancy for the position of Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer.
The company said the recruitment is aimed at attracting top
talent to help implement its mandate in the energy generation subsector.
GDC was formed following the enactment of the Energy Act No.
12 of 2006 after reforms that unbundled Kenya’s energy sector into generation,
transmission, distribution, regulation and policy functions.
Applicants for the CEO position have been asked to submit
their applications through the company’s online recruitment portal available on
the official Geothermal Development Company website and GDC jobs
portal by 5pm on June 25, 2026.
The company said shortlisted candidates will be required to
present clearance certificates from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations,
the Higher Education Loans Board, the Kenya Revenue Authority, the Ethics and
Anti-Corruption Commission and an approved Credit Reference Bureau in line with
Chapter Six of the Constitution.
GDC also stated that it does not charge any fee for
processing job applications and encouraged women, youth, marginalized groups
and persons with disabilities to apply.
