Top 10 countries in volunteering time in 2024

According to the World Giving Index 2024 by Charities Aid Foundation, Indonesia ranks highest globally in volunteering time, with 65% of its population involved.

Liberia follows at 58%, Nigeria at 53%, and Kenya at 52%, placing fourth worldwide.

This ranking is based on whether people donated to charity, helped strangers, or volunteered their time to organizations.

The Philippines, Tajikistan, The Gambia, Guinea, Sri Lanka, and India also made the top ten, showing a strong spirit of community across diverse regions.

These results reflect how acts of service continue to bridge societal gaps, especially in developing nations.
