10 countries with food crisis hosting the most refugees and asylum-seekers

The 2025 Global Report on Food Crises highlights the severe challenges faced by countries grappling with food insecurity while simultaneously hosting large refugee populations.

Jordan leads the list with 3.1 million refugees, followed closely by Colombia (2.9 million) and Palestine (2.5 million).

Uganda and Pakistan each host 1.8 million displaced individuals, while Chad, Lebanon, Ethiopia, Bangladesh, and Sudan also feature prominently.

These nations, already struggling with limited resources, face compounded pressures as they provide shelter and aid to millions.
