President William Ruto on Wednesday hosted Democratic Movement (UDM) party officials at State House, Nairobi.
The President said UDM is a committed member of the Kenya Kwanza Alliance.
The UDM officials were led by Party Leader Ali Roba.
Ruto said frequent interactions are essential in evaluating the progress of the Bottom Up Economic Transformation Agenda.
“Our programmes in agricultural innovation, infrastructure development, universal healthcare and housing, among others, are changing our country in tremendous ways,” he said.
“We are very proud of the progress we are making in transforming our country, and we are determined to take our country to the next level.”
Ruto said the government is firmly resolute that violence cannot be allowed to destroy what they have built and are building.
He said Kenya cannot be held hostage by malevolent forces out to subvert the country’s democracy.
