Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has outlined strict conditions for politicians seeking the influential Mt Kenya vote ahead of the 2027 elections.
Aspirants must prove they command genuine supporter numbers and work through structured engagement with his Democracy for the Citizens Party (DCP) and allied groups.
They are required to subject themselves to public participation drives where supporters witness their commitment.
Gachagua also demands a declaration that the Kenya Kwanza administration is a “common enemy,” signaling a strong opposition stance.
