Kenyans have flooded the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC) to witness the swearing in of Professor Kithure Kindiki as Deputy President of the Republic of Kenya.
The swearing in follows the lifting of orders that had barred his assumption of the office by the High Court.
Kindiki will replace Rigathi Gachagua who was impeached.
Security has also been beefed up at KICC.
