Political activist Kebaso Morara now says that his newly registered political party, Injection of National Justice, Economic and Civic Transformation (INJECT), has now joined the opposition coalition.

In a statement on Wednesday morning, Morara said that as young people, their work will not be to complain about how things are not okay in the country but to offer solutions.

He insisted that this way, they will also have a chance to ensure that principles of good governance are observed and upheld.

“INJECT Party has joined the opposition coalition. Our job is not to complain about this or that & him or her. Our mission is to offer solutions. To ensure that the values and principles of good governance are held in high esteem. We want justice and opportunities for the youth to live, work and grow,” he said.

Morara added that the Gen Z who form the most members of his party are now the opposition.

He exuded confidence that they shall soon form government, even as he committed to be an outstanding example of integrity.

“Gen Zs, we are the opposition now; in a short while, we will be the government. Let us walk into the room with confidence and change how things are done from the inside. As your leader, I commit to be an outstanding icon of integrity.”

This comes just days after Morara was seen interacting and attending events hosted by Opposition politicians.

He started by attending the launch of the rebranded People’s Liberation Party (PLP), formerly Narc Kenya.

He would later hold a private meeting with former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua.

On Tuesday, he was in a group of Opposition politicians who met to deliberate on the formation of a united outfit to face President William Ruto in 2027.

They included Martha Karua, Kalonzo Musyoka (Wiper), Rigathi Gachagua, Eugene Wamalwa (DAP-K), Jimmy Wanjigi (Safina) and Kisii senator Richard Onyonka.

Inject party was formed in September 2024 as a result of the Gen Z anti-government protests that were held across the country.

It is, however, not registered by the Registrar of Political Parties.

Out of the protests, Morara emerged as one of the most vocal individuals and, to some extent, the face of the protests.
