The deal was signed at Gusii Stadium by the club’s
President Jared Nivaton and Oasis Healthcare Group acting chief operations
officer Joash Mwanzi after months of progressive discussions.
Also present during the signing ceremony were the club’s treasurer
Bosire Anyoka, secretary general Elizaphan Kerama and vice chairman Wycliffe
Ayienda.
Kerama said the deal was a significant milestone in the continued growth and professionalisation of the club.
“This
support ensures that our players and technical bench will have access to
quality, timely, and professional healthcare services,” Kerama said.
The SG said that as part of the deal, Oasis Hospital will provide comprehensive medical cover for players and the technical bench at a tune of Sh8.8 million.
The club will get Sh1.2 million annually. “The financial support will strengthen the club’s operational capacity and will reinforce our commitment to high professional standards,” noted Kerama.
The hospital will also provide ambulance services during the club’s home games.
“The coverage will include medical assessment, treatment, emergency care, and overall health management, which is a key component in safeguarding player welfare and optimising performance,” said Kerama.
On his part, Mwanzi said they are proud to support the players
and safeguard their health. “We are part of this remarkable journey not merely
as sponsors but as committed partners in the team and the community,” said
Mwanzi.
He added: “Standing with Shabana is a natural extension
of our mission because behind every great team is a foundation of good health
and well-being.”
On his part, Nivaton appealed to more corporations to support the Glamour Boys.
He said the club management remains committed to strengthening their international structures, enhancing player welfare, and aligning their operations with modern standards of football.
“Our vision
extends beyond performance on the pitch. It encompasses building a sustainable,
professionally managed institution which is grounded in excellence and
accountability,” remarked Kerama.
