Super Metro Matatus
The management of Super Metro, Super Metro Limited, has confirmed
that one of their buses was involved in a road accident today morning, June 10,
2025, along Juja Road.
The accident occurred when a Super Metro bus collided with a lorry.
In a statement, its management
noted that, from Preliminary reports, it was indicated that the lorry driver was
swerving at high speed before colliding with their bus.
Fortunately, there were no fatalities; two individuals, however,
sustained minor injuries from the incident.
“We are relieved to report that there were no fatalities, though
two individuals sustained minor injuries,” Super Metro stated.
The incident has been
reported to Juja Police Station, and the management has stated that it is
cooperating fully with the authorities to investigate the matter and ensure all
necessary steps are taken.
It has also stated that its users who are interested in knowing more
about the incident can contact Juja Police Station directly.
“Super Metro Limited
remains steadfast in upholding the highest standards of transport
responsibility, prioritising the safety and well-being of our passengers and
the public,” Super Metro stated.
