Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has mourned popular content creator Zachariah Kariuki, famously known as Mr KK Mwenyewe, following news of his death.
In a statement from the United States where he is currently on a political tour with his spouse Pastor Dorcas Rigathi, Gachagua described Mr KK as a “content creator per excellence and inspiration to many.”
“I have this morning woken up to the sad demise of Mr Zachariah Kariuki alias Mr KK Mwenyewe, a content creator per excellence and inspiration to many,” said Gachagua.
“Mr KK, a young, consistent, and resilient young man, used comedy to communicate simple and creative messages to all Kenyans and spoke to our hearts,” he added.

Hundreds of fans have eulogised him in heartfelt condolences as one of the best comedians to grace the Kenyan creative industry, with many describing his sudden death as tragic.
