President William has been warmly received by yet another crowd of supporters in Maua Town, Meru County.
He addressed the crowd, emphasising the need to develop the area.
“We are bringing government services closer to thousands of people of Igembe South, Meru, with the establishment of the Maua Huduma Centre,” he said.
“Our focus is to ensure that more Kenyans access more government services at our one-stop shop platforms.”
During his visit, he laid the foundation stone for the construction of the Huduma Centre, Maua, which will offer more than 20 services to the people of Igembe South.
Earlier on, he inspected the construction works for the Maua town Sewer Line.
Ruto has entered day two of his development tour in Central Kenya.
His Wednesday itinerary includes Maua, Kiburi, Nkuene, Ahiti Ndomba and Kagio Town, where he will address residents and launch projects.
The Head of State embarked on the tour on Tuesday and will traverse nine counties by Saturday.
These include Laikipia, Nyeri, Meru, Kirinyaga, Nyandarua, Murang’a, Embu, Tharaka-Nithi and Kiambu counties.
